After more than 2 years of successful Mahjong nights and having taught over 1000 students how to play mahjong, or 麻将 (májiàng) in Chinese, That’s Mandarin have come up with a unique teaching system for beginners. This system has been tested by their students from all over the world, and received great feedback.

But Mahjong Nights at That’s Mandarin happen only once a month, so in response to the students’ requests, we are launching a year-round program!

Course Details

In small groups of 4 people, within a course of 4 Friday nights (a total of 12 classes*), you will grasp the basics of mahjong, have sufficient time to play, and progress to a more advanced level.

You will also learn about the regional differences in the game.

• Time: Fridays, 7-9:25pm
• Duration: 12 classes (4 weeks)
• Location: Shanghai**
• Group size: 4 people per group

*1 class = 45 minutes
*The first course batch will be hosted in Shanghai campus only.
