Last Friday was an exciting day at That’s Mandarin, as we made 饺子 (jiǎozi), or dumplings together with our students, and celebrated the International Women’s Day!
Take a look at the best moments ✨
包饺子 // Making Dumplings
It was indeed a tasty adventure that taught us about Chinese food and culture. Our students got the chance to:
🥟 Explore the traditions behind 饺子 (jiǎozi);
🥟 Learn the Chinese names for the tools essential in dumpling-making and also explored the most popular fillings, both meat-based and vegetarian;
🥟 Make their own dumplings and challenge themselves with creating the pro version;
🥟 And finally, enjoy the delicious dumplings they made!
过女神节 // Celebrating Women’s Day
And the excitement didn’t end there! We had one more beautiful reason to celebrate: International Women’s Day!
It was a happy coincidence that made our event even more special. We took a moment to honor and appreciate the women of our school and all over the world 🌻
We had such a great time making 饺子 jiǎozi!
Thank-you to all our students for coming, sharing your mood and smiles ✨ Can’t wait to have more events like this in the future!
